So what is Sound Therapy?
It is the therapeutic use of sound frequencies to promote health and harmony in a person’s body, mind, emotions or spirit. The tools we might use to bring about this state change are the voice (toning vowel sounds, using mantras), tuning forks, and/or the use of one or more instruments (e.g. Gong, singing bowls, chimes, drums and percussion instruments, etc.).
I often combine therapies, as appropriate, but we can discuss the options you would like to try at the start of a treatment.

25 mins for £40 (£35 for members) – this is for regular clients only. Call/message me to book in.
A ‘no frills’, targetted, 25 minute top-up when you just need a little extra support between treatments. This is a God-send if you need to keep on top of pain, swelling or inflammation in between your regular treatments.
We will see what can be acheived in 25 minutes, but if the need is too great and you require more than 25 minutes, you will have to make a further appointment (if I have space on the day, we may be able to convert this EXPRESS service to a normal 45 min/60 min treatment).
What is Myofascial Sonic Therapy good for and how does it work?
PAIN RELIEF, REDUCTION OF INFLAMMATION, INCREASED MOBILITY, LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE, SPEEDS UP HEALING
This is the use of weighted tuning forks used on the body to: relax muscles; assist in releasing tight fascia; help stimulate the lymphatic system to work more effectively; help improve blood circulation where there is stiffness, pain or inflammation to promote recovery. The tuning fork provides the muscles and fascia with gently stimulating sound waves, it is non-invasive and clients can remain clothed if not combining with essential oils. From experience, clients usually notice an improvement in the area being worked after their first treatment (contact me to discuss health concerns and contra-indications).
Rejuvenation treatment using Myofascial Sonic Therapy
Here we sculpt the face, neck and shoulders, minimising all the usual suspects …. puffiness, jowls, bags under the eyes, wrinkles, double chin, ‘thick’ neck, dull complexion, acne. It also works wonders on blocked sinuses and help with headaches, too.

This treatment uses unweighted tuning forks about 3-5 inches off the body. The sensors in the skin relay the vibration to the brain, helping it to re-map the geography of the body. The vibration brings the brain and body into synchronisation. ‘Brain tuning’ using binaural beats (generated by tuning forks) work to reset and sync your internal ‘clocks’.
4. CLASSIC SOUND HEALING THERAPY – Voice & Instruments

AN EFFECTIVE TREATMENT FOR STRESS REDUCTION, RELAXATION, RESTORE BALANCE, PROMOTES EMOTIONAL, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING, VERY GENTLE AND NURTURING. ALSO, AN EXCELLENT TOOL FOR SHAMANIC JOURNEYING, IF YOU ARE ON THAT PATH.
In this treatment I mostly use the voice to tone vowel sounds which vibrate over and through the body. This is called ‘toning’. As well as toning, I may also use some instruments (gongs, singing bowls, chimes, percussion instruments). This is wonderfully relaxing and nurturing, particularly for stress and restoring balance. I trained with the College of Sound Healing and here I learnt about the power of the voice. There is an old saying that “The voice is the only instrument made by God. All other instruments are made by man”.

The gong is a wonderfully powerful healing instrument, taking you into a deep state of relaxation and altering your brain wave states, taking you from Beta down through Alpha to Theta (some even fall asleep and go into Delta waves!). I combine light frequencies (therapeutic use of colour) with Gongs, Buffalo Base Drum, Solfeggio tubular bells, Solfeggio tuning forks, Koshi chimes, percussion instruments, crystal bowls, singing bowls and vocal toning to create a magical soundscape for you to float through.
In addition, a bespoke selection of essential oils and crystals will be specially selected to support your emotional and mental wellbeing. The frequencies of the sounds, oils and crystals can help support healing on all levels. On a physical level, deep relaxation gives your body the best opportunity for cellular repair and regeneration.
